Summary: Have 145 days of guiding (105 as Tour Leader) in 23 tours for 3 different programs/tours the main one beign a Bike Tour on the Atlantic Coast (Porto to Lisbon) operating for EXODUS Adventure Travels in this case. Participants are mostly senior (average 60 yo) from USA, UK, Canada mainly. I have the responsability of confirming all reservations and logistics, manage the guiding team, brief to clients, communicating with back office, lead the ride, do cultural and natural interpretations of destinations.

Summary: Did 10 days of Tour Leading in 2 different E-bike routes in central Portugal. The Duties and responsibilities are the same written for the experience above. Since it is a small bussiness, the tours are not so well established so i put more work on troubleshooting the tour on the go regarding logistics, bookings, route and navigation, tour schedule and cultural/natural interpretations. Added responsability on riding technical terrain and adapting the route to the clients' capabilities (also 60+ yo, similar nationalities)

Summary: Organise weekly bike skills lessons in different locations in my current area with kids and teens (5-12 yo). Every class has from 5 to 12 participants and is adapted to their skills (riding games on the flat and/or riding on easy trails). In contrary to the previous experiences, the participants are from different nationalities and classes are in English.

Summary: Implemented backing tracks for a 3,5h (70+ songs) live performance in a 9 piece band under tight deadlines for 11 booked gigs. Handled the tracks live through REAPER as the working DAW and coordinated it with the sound engineers.

Summary: Founding member of a Big Band with 11 musicians. Songwriting and arrangements in a collaborative band environment. Co-directed band rehearsals, providing demos and song maps for guidance and strucutre. Handled all communication and logistics with event organizers and venues and managed the finances, including budgeting and passing receipts (for 8 concerts around Portugal). Responsible for the technical riders and coordination with the local sound team.

Bike Mechanic at own Workshop (Fix2Ride)

Summary: Opened a small workshop in my garage at my local hometown to do bike maintenance services for the public. Was also autonomous for bike maintenance during my racing years (except for servicing suspensions).

Summary: I freelanced for local outdoor company to support on river hikes (with cliff jumping, slides and rope swings) and canyoning activities. It was usually in very busy days with groups of 60+ kids/teens (scouts, summer programes, etc) and usually would help lead groups of 20+ in the river with 3 other guides, safety briefing different sections and making sure everybody was confortable and safe. There was a lot of gear maintenance and logistics involved.

Summary: Worked regularly for a venue that held summer camps and weekend events for schools and other organisations. On site, they had rappel, slide, climbing wall, canopy/tree climbing circuits, bridges, and all sorts of games (archery, treasure hunts, night raids). Out of the site, in the mountain, we organised trips to lakes (canoeing), hikes and picnics. I was mainly the support monitor but also led activities, safety briefings and actively supported the planning, drove with participants and troubleshooted when needed. I was a monitor for the full duration of 1 summer camp (15 days) with kids aged 7-14 (the usual age range in this venue).
